One small step for music.........

The Barenaked Ladies are setting what could become a new trend in how to release music to your fans. On their website, they have made individual elements (tracks) of some of their latest songs available for download (for a small fee). Why? So you can remix their tunes any way you want. Create a unique version of a tune or mash it up with another song. They don't mind. It's all a small step in the shift of forward thinking artists (from the Nettwerk label) who would rather give you more freedom with the music you buy.......... unlike most of the industry.
