This blog turned 2 today. How time flies when you're having fun. On a somewhat related note, I was chosen blog-of-the-day by blogoftheday.org a few days ago. It was the 'Firsts' meme that did it.
Anyway, a big thank you to all my readers, especially those that take the time to say hello and offer feedback. All I ask is that you tell two friends.... and they tell two friends.... and so on.....

APPLAUSE!!! Congrats, Karl.
Keep up the originality. Your originality in finding things that are odd, strange, funny, and interesting still amazes me.
I both fear and respect that. ;-)
Karl---Happy One + One = Two, and congratulations on your selection as Blogspot Blog-of-the-Day. Nine days ago, when my "Zero-Dark-Thirty" enquiry on Google circuitously led me to your WHITE NOISE site, I had a sense that it and you were special. I was not wrong.
"From The Outside" Freewebizen, Andy, is Correctomundo when he characterizes your WHITE NOISE site as one with "originality in finding things that are odd, strange, funny, and interesting." I am particularly impressed with your seamless pairing of the photo-graphics and the textual content in each of your Blog posts. Where do you find all the graphics?
As the Fates would have it, you are somewhat responsible for my web presence on Blogspot. Directly after I first stumbled across your White Noise blog, I had to sign on to and stake my claim on Blogspot.com in order to answer your "How did you find me?" question. I the process, I established one of my Green Picnic Table Roadside Rest-Stops in the Canadian-Canadien climes north of the border along the Trans Canada Highway, virtual nanometres away from your nominal 51° 05'N, 114° 05'W GEOPOSIT.

Congrats Karl, always a good read.
How do I find the graphics? I cheat. Google images. I think of a word that might return the type of image I'm looking for, crop out any unnecessary parts and hope the rightful owners of the pic don't litigate. When I can't find what I want on Google, I check Flickr.
Novus e-Gratis Ordo Sæculorum, Karl. Here in the New e-Millennium, “fair use” on a personal blog such as yours from Web sources is not “cheating” nor “stealing,” but rather “sharing.” I use and am familiar with Google Images and Flickr too, but your pertinent findings for your posts still impress.
Your honour, I'd like to call my first character witness to the stand.......
