So glad to be open-minded...

South Dakota has just passed a law making it illegal to perform an abortion - even in the case of rape or incest. [shaking my head] Message to the world: the day men are able to carry a child to term is the day men can decide what a woman does with their unborn child. Message number two: if the life of an unborn child is so important to some people, then those people should be around to help pay for that child's upbringing. You can't have it only one way folks.

Those are my thoughts - not yours. Thanks for coming out.

I'd go even further. If a legislative body is going to pass a law outlawing abortion, then they should simultaneously pass a law to guarentee sufficient funding for schools, health-care, food, housing, and foster care for all the children they proffess so much too love. Oh, sorry, never mind - banning abortion doesn't cost anybody anything while still appearing to "do something".

Well, doesn't cost anybody anything until all the unwanted, unloved, abused, & angry children grow up. Then we have to build more jails. But that's 20 years from now, so don't worry about it.
