Oh, poor naive citizens of Calgary. You think you have traffic issues. I only wish upon you one day on the freeways of Los Angeles. It's a very nerve-wracking experience if you're not used to it. The saving grace for us was the car-pool lane. It's like having your own private freeway. In some cases, the lane even has its own elevated fly-over to connect you to the car-pool lane on the next freeway. Very cool. What amazed me the most is how few people were actually using the lane, since you have to have 2 or more people in your vehicle to use it.
