More observations from the BC trip

I just realized that there was another incident worth reporting. I was waiting in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at and I watched while this young lad walked past my car. He stopped right in front of it and looked at his dad, motioning toward the AC plug sticking out of the front of my car - with a look that indicated that he had no idea what such a plugs' purpose would be. "Is this an electric car?" he probably mused in a vain attempt to make sense of this vehicular anomaly.

Of course, that's when it dawned on me that the poor kid had probably never seen a block heater cord before.....
