These facts may not be exact today, but it's still funny

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.
With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.
With WorldCom,you would have had less than $5.00 left.
But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank it all, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling refund, you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, good advice would seem to be to drink heavily and recycle. Posted by Hello

You know, I can't stand ketchup on my eggs either.

I know this has nothing to do with the post, but I understand why you commented on my profile here. My mother, not understanding why on earth I wouldn't eat kethcup and eggs - made me sit at the table until I ate it once. It was a painful day in my childhood (sorry Mom).

Oh my goodness. Isn't that child abuse or something? Or is putting ketchup on eggs a normal occurance and I've just been too wrapped up in myself to notice?

I pity your poor, injured childish sensibilities...back when they were..erm...childish.

Sheri: It's likely that the story's facts (which were given to me by someone else) are old news and therefore are no longer accurate. But thanks for pointing that out.

Anonymous: Well, since my mother really liked ketchup on her eggs, she probably could not fathom why I wouldn't like them.
