You want me to what?

Few people actually read the End User License Agreement (EULA) that comes with software, but the EULA that accompanies Claria software (formerly Gator) is a piece of work. Particularly notable is the part where the user agrees that they will not use any spyware removal tools:

"You agree that you will not use, or encourage others to use, any unauthorized means for the removal of the GAIN AdServer, or any GAIN-Supported Software from a computer."

So, no spyware removers for you! No uninstalling their software either.

"Any use of a packet sniffer or other device to intercept or access communications between GP and the GAIN AdServer is strictly prohibited."

And they don't want you snooping to see what information they're getting from you either.

So, when you install this stuff, you are legally agreeing to these conditions. Isn't software fun?
