We were at Costco the other day and a backup system for about $129 was for 2TB. Wow, I thought I was on the cutting edge when I got one that was 500GB, less than a year ago. My how the world is changing.
My very first PC was some car brand like Toyota and the DOS operating system ran the thing and the word processing system was WORD STAR. The PC had about 256 K memory. I had to use Word Star on a separate disc in order to actually transcribe and print documents. That was mid 80's. My computer class in college (mid 70's) consisted of PL1 (Progamming language 1). I do like the progress that has been made. Truly. R
