Pop Tax

The US Senate is considering new ways to finance the changes that are necessary in the US. One idea being floated is a tax on things that aren't good for you to eat, starting with pop (soda), certain fruit drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks and ready-to-drink tea. It would not include most diet beverages. What a great idea!

Too bad they couldn't jack up the fee a little more and make bottled water free.

I havn't heard yet if the new Whitehouse is Pepsi or Coke. It usually makes a slow news day story. I know Jimmy Carter switched it to Coke since Coke is from Ga. and I think Reagan was Pepsi
