Not recommended for people on a diet

I'm always up for trying new recipes if they look good. Notice I said 'look'.

This is why I absolutely love the site TasteSpotting. It scours the internet looking for new recipes on various cooking sites and blogs and throws them all up as pictures. And my friends, there's some very tasty looking food in them there pictures.

Yes we do eat with our eyes. I was recently experimenting with a recipe for bread pudding. I had rapidly aging rolls in the fridge, milk, half a dozen eggs, raisins, small container of freezer blackberry jam and some seriously aged shredded coconut. Tear up bread, add other ingredients, bake one hour at 350 degrees and you have a very VERY dark bread pudding, tastes okay, for you blackberry lovers but with the bloated raisins and the hairy coconut the picture is NOT appealing. Kids might like it for Halloween if I name it Blood pudding with rats eyes and spider legs. erk.
