Britons are a funny lot. The anti-photography thread continues unabated. The best part, as reported by Cory Doctorow on BoingBoing, is that "cops have the power to search you if you take a picture of a 'sensitive' area, but they won't tell you which areas are 'sensitive', because they're so 'sensitive'."Oh, I get it. The UK authorities are allowed to take pictures of you, but you're very restricted to what you can take pictures of. That sounds fair. I think the photographers of the UK could win some arguments by pointing out that if everyone was allowed to take pictures of any public building, maybe someone would catch a terrorist in one of their photos!
Yes I know - the whole thing's preposterous.
