There is a similar story in the US, but in this case a disabled Tim Horton's customer in a motorized wheelchair was refused service via the drive-thru window for clearly stated safety reasons.OK, I can see why he'd want to use the drive-thru versus driving into the store - that scooter is huge. But I do see Tim Horton's' point as well. If this guy got creamed in the drive-thru lane by a 'driver on a mission for caffeine', Tim Horton's would get sued.
It's a tough one. No doubt about it.
