The next time you hear the US Trade Rep going on about Canada needing to adopt its own DMCA, or hear stirrings of Bill C-61 needing to be put back on the table because Canada is a pirate nation - you can rest assured they're full of crap.

Firstly, the US has no business telling Canada what kind of copyright laws it should have, and secondly, using the US copyright lobby's own numbers, Canada has the lowest software piracy rate of any of the countries reported on.
