Machinima festival

You may recall me mentioning machinima before. It's where people use video games to create movies. Now there are so many of these unique works of art that there is a festival where entries compete. I've only ever seen Red vs Blue and Strangerhood to date, so I was looking forward to seeing some other works. The first I tried was The Adventures of Bill and John. It's French, but there are English subtitles. It's a hoot. Better Life seems like a music video created using the Second Life experience. The Days After uses the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to create a short about a deadly virus epidemic.

This machinima thing is only waiting on some high level talent to turn it into a cultural phenomenon.
