Here come the Russians! Yay!

Did you know you can buy mp3s of whole songs for as little as 5 cents each? Whole albums for about a dollar! The site is allofmp3. It's Russian - and if the RIAA and all their world-wide lackies had their way - it would be shut down. The site owners claim they're paying royalties (or will soon) through the Russian music industry, but the RIAA are having none of it. They want it taken down - in fact, the WTO is threatening that if Russia doesn't take it down, they won't be invited into the WTO. The Russians, meanwhile are shaking in their collective boots. No - not really.

Lucky for us, you can enjoy compressed music the way it was meant to be enjoyed - economically. Too bad the domestic music industry couldn't mimic this service for the same price. Wouldn't they make a fortune?
