Every now and then I want a coke....not anymore.
ReplyDeleteThat would explain why my recipe for tender chicken gizzards calls for boiling them in a 2 liter bottle of coke for 45 minutes. It does tenderize the chicken gizzards, plays hell with connective tissue I'm sure. But the gizzards fry up nicely and are tender. The boiled coke is of course discarded. No idea what it does to the plumbing. Royce
