I guess the Hubble space telescope (which is on its last legs - or so I'm told) discovered something weird. Hubble saw something brighten for about 100 days and then fade away until nothing was left in view.Of course, they haven't considered what it really is - the remains of Alderaan, destroyed by the Imperial Death Star..........

I heard SETI heard something on the radio telescopes too, the report went something like "as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced". :-P
