Speaking of gasoline.....

For the first time the price of regular gasoline in Calgary reached 99.9cents/litre. That converts to US$3.10/gallon. Consumers seem to be willing to keep paying these prices though, as demand for gasoline in Canada has not let up. I wonder how high gas prices have to go before consumers begin to change their lifestyles. Needless to say, I heard a lot of "I'm so glad I filled up this morning".

  1. In my neck of the woods, gasoline costs 1,30 euro a liter, which is 5,20 euro a gallon, which is about 7 US dollars a gallon.

And still we're willing to pay for it.

    Cheers

  2. That's outrageous! I guess I should be grateful. Although I don't have the facts to back this up, I've heard stories of places in this world where gasoline is as low as 20 cents/litre. Can anyone back this up?
