Can't stand all the squeaking the door hinges in your home make, but find the smell of common lubricants (like WD-40) too strong? Apply some olive oil to the hinge instead. Works like a charm.Photo by 96dpi.

For those of us that enjoy a good shave while camping, but don't want to carry around an entire can of shaving cream - olive oil makes a good substitute. And it leaves your skin very smooth.
