ReplyDeleteI looked at Pompei yesterday but couldn't see the hill. I was there Dec 1980. One of those places you have to see to believe. I could have spent days roving around the ruins.

What is that landmark called?
ReplyDeleteThe oval landmark that I was hoping would give it away is the Pompeii Amphitheatre. For all you classic rock music trivia buffs, that's where Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii was filmed.
